We're back at Uptown Bonifacio!

Dear conscious consumers and advocates,

As 2021 draws to a close, we remember in our thoughts and prayers all the events of the year gone by, especially those who have suffered or been suffering from the uncertainties and misfortunes brought upon by the current circumstances.

This Christmas season, we want to salute the heroes in our part of society - our social enterprise and creative startup family. MSMEs in the Philippines have been among the hardest hit this pandemic, with little to no aid gone their way. But social entrepreneurs are, if anything, determined and resilient, and they will find ways to make things work.

It is in this spirit that we are excited to tell you about our return to physical retail - right in time for more people like you to give gifts that also give hope to others.

The Roots Collective is back at Uptown Bonifacio in BGC, Taguig for at least 3 months, from December 2021 to February 2022. With God's grace, we could stay here for good. We were last here for a week in October 2019 through the Roots Commune, and then for our first pop-up store from November 2019 to March 2020.

Located on the third floor, between Garmin and Dr. Kong, and across the cinemas and UCC, the store is aptly situated in the mall's lifestyle area, attracting urbanites living around and working in BGC. Uptown Bonifacio is also Megaworld Corporation's flagship mall, and our previous pop-up store was actually identified as their Sustainable Shopping partner.

Every social enterprise and creative startup featured on our web marketplace can be found inside the store, plus new ones who returned to the community in time for the store opening. We can't wait to tell you more about them in our next letter!

You can purchase all our products from food and drinks, to personal care and aromatherapy, to sanitizers and cleaners and PPE, to home decor and kitchen, to eco-friendly and zero-waste alternatives, and everything in between. We're also offering some seasonal items and limited-edition gift sets and boxes - but you can also create your own gift baskets of local and social goods as always in-store!

This Christmas, with the Roots Collective, give the gift that keeps on giving, that gives back, that gives twice, that gives hope to others... there are many a phrase abound, but we just want to grow the impact on our social and creative enterprise community.
